I work as a therapeutic coach, meaning that I incorporate a therapeutic style to the way I coach. I trained as a psychotherapeutic counsellor and found my time studying the methods, theories as well as experiencing therapy and coaching first hand, were invaluable.
I hold a non judgemental and safe space to enable individuals to explore their thoughts and feelings. We may touch on the past for a deeper understanding and we will explore the present, before we move forward.
I do not necessarily hold the answers but I can certainly provide guidance, reflection and mental clarity. Through my own experience with therapy and coaching, I became a little more connected to myself and my surroundings session by session. What worked for me was the space and energy these sessions provided. They provided: growth, acceptance and a deeper understanding of what my core values were and I began to live more authentically. I soon realised that if something like this could transform aspects of my life, then to be able provide this for others was something I would gladly commit to.
